Nice intro..... Music is kewl...... but vocally diction suffers I can't understand what the lyrics are saying. I get the chorus - but that's it. You are singing really softly, plus they are buried in the mix.
This is very common with self produced projects - not being use to hearing or not liking one's own vocals. I would remix this – making vocals the priority. If you have pitch problems - punch in and fix them.

Sounds like a kewl tune, hence worth the effort.

Great Job the whole production is very professional great guitar work like the use of whammy bar or wha. keyboard work is excellent. Lead vocal would work as female also.

A very tight production. I really like the instrumentation throughout the entire song. The song reminds me a bit of the Stone Roses. This absolutely has a ton of potential. Keep it up guys. And thanks for letting me know about this.

As for me, I hear things just fine. Don't be offended by Gene's honestly stated opinion. (but DO pay heed, because he IS very trusted and admired 'round here for his skill and pro ability ...and he has the best of intentions.)

...but that being said, it is YOUR tune and if it sounds fine to YOU, then that's all that matters.

I give it Thumbs Up even "as-is"

Thanks Mike (Indep....)I know exactly what you mean. But Gene is absolutely right, in fact creepily spot on! I can't wait to find a vocalist to try doing the songs some justice. (Then pump those vocals up).

I like the introduction a lot.
Nice guitar work & effects.
The vocals sound nice & the blending of the harmony takes the listener in.
I like these lyrics a lot.
I can hear this one on a soundtrack to
a nice film...has a indie film feeling.
I said it before & I'll say it again..

This is a cool arrangment...especially that segue between chorus and verse...that is sooo smooooth.
The guitars and orchestration are sounding cool and the rhythm section is poppin. The delivery of the vox may not have been what you expected, but the vocal melodies and ideas have got nice hooks to them.
Cool

Daaayum... Nice track, sensual backing track and delicious vocals... You've done it again, my man... I see this as a night track in a fast car, going around the city, taking in the neon lights... This is nice...

very cool and full of great little sounds that make a really nice whole... if that makes sense? it seems to to me! anyway, great track. loved every minute! cool lyrics in the chorus but the verse needs the volume up slightly.

Love the melody...I like the subtle vocals, all they need is to be turned up a notch to make them a little louder. I don't believe the song would work as well with powerful vocals...it would lose the emotion and atmospheric "feel" you have created here. The way the chorus kicks in and lifts the song is great. I like the arrangement and the blend of sounds. Great song! Thumbs Up

I love the marriage of the stuttering rhythm with the almost spooky vocal and thin, brittle guitar. Beautiful. "Take off your shoes and learn to fly"- that's a great line. The dramatic dynamics and sound foleyish vocals add a lot of depth to this. It's kind of Pop-py, but cuts a little deeper, ala XTC or Bauhaus. Niiiiice.
