Very nice work. Reminds me a bit of Ian McCulloch. The guitars and drums are recorded very well. Nice tone and atmosphere. The vocal melody is soothing as well. Thumbs Up

A nice song this. Your vocals sound good. It really needs a big cheesey orchestra in there though to take it to the next level.
It just sounds a little bare. Good work.

Great sounding guitars and your vocals are very cool. Love the way the chorus drops in. The entire arrangment and melodies are catchy. Orchestral pads are nice. They feel a little too far back in the mix as the song progresses. The initial orchestral impact at the top of the song though is very good.
You've captured a real nice feel with this track.

Ahhh nice! Sweet, vulnerable vocal and the entire song is so good. Screw em, hehe, the orchestra was perfect. Just enough to bring it depth and soul. Really like this alot! :) (Smile)

i dig this track, your voice reminds me a bit of the jayhawks singers. there's some pitchy spots with the vocals, especially with the harmonies. i like the idea of the orch parts, but i concur the string tones could have been better.

the chorus is cool, reminds me of something that the church would right if they were from athens, ga :) (Smile) good stuff

Expertly arranged song...very nice intro, love the way the bass and other tracks kick in. Great vocals...performed with emotion. Love those keys and the subtle orchestral backing. Great lead guitar, very passionate...my only very minor gripe was that when it first came in, I found it to be a tiny bit too loud. Excellent songwriting, wonderful lyrics. Top class song and woonderful performance! Clapping Clapping Clapping

I concur with Van - vocal diction is good - but pitch suffers. It sounds to me you are not supporting your voice with your diaphragm..... Instead, you are singing entirely with your throat. Yell at your neighbor from across the street - that is how you need to project - then practice controlling that power.

Production and mixed are good. The tune is kewl....

Good Job

Yea! New tunes. I like the poem. The piano/guitar solos are very nice and well placed. I also like the tone of your guitars. They are very trebly and bright, both of which compliment your voice well.

This reminds me of XTC, Let’s Active, and other Pop outfits from about the time MTV’s “120 Minutes” program became “PostModern Music”...or do I have that backwards? I was in Art School then, doing the requisite psychotropics, so it’s a large fuzzy spot in my recollection.
Now, that’s not to say this sounds “dated”. I think that sweet melodies paired with this dramatic treatment will never really fall out of style.

The song is just what I'd expect from you - very good. You are a songwriter par excellence. I like the piano solo, but feel the backing throughout the main part is missing something, even slightly out of tune. But my overall feeling about this is an excellent song, the lyrics and melody are super especially the chorus, it's very catchy.
